The 29th edition of international food and hospitality exhibition, AAHAR, commenced at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. The five-day B2B event was one of the biggest so far in terms of total exhibition area and number of exhibitors. About 765 exhibitors are participating in this year compared to 650 last year. AAHAR was supported by associated industry partners from the hospitality and food processing sector, like Hotel & Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers Association of India (HOTREMAI), Association of Resource Companies for Hospitality Industry of India (ARCHII), All India Food Processors Association (AIFPA); Forum of Indian Food Importers (FIFI).

Within AAHAR, a culinary competition was held, called the Culinary Art India (CAI) organized by Hospitality First and hosted by ICF (Indian Culinary Forum) and IFCA (Indian Federation of Culinary Association) which brought in a lot of Senior Chefs as jury and visitors. Younger chefs from across the prominent hotels and culinary students participated in the various categories in CAI.

Unilever Food Solutions was the Food Service partner and an associate sponsor for the CAI in the live Cooking categories i.e. professional Chefs and apprentice cooking, UFS products were made part of the ingredient basket and the rule book. A special prize was given to the winner in both the categories.

Unilever Food Solutions had a well designed stall as well, near the competition arena where the entire product range was showcased. The focus was on Knorr Indian Base Sauces, Vending Machines & Entire OOH product portfolio, helping us demonstrate and sample to our TG of Chefs and operators.
