Fried Vegetables in Hot and Sweet Sauce

  • 220 g Mixed Vegetables, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Brown & Polson Cornflour
  • 2 tbsp Plain Flour
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 3 g Knorr Aromat Powder
  • - Oil, for frying
  • 30 g Hot and Sweet Sauce, prepared with Kissan Sauce Maker
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilli Paste
  • 2 tbsp Grated Onion
  • 100 g spring onion
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup prepared with Kissan Sauce Dip
  • 2/3 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar



    Hot and Sweet Sauce

    • Heat oil in a pan fry ginger garlic and green chilli paste. Add grated onion and fry for 2 mins.
    • Add half cup prepared tomato ketchup prepared with Kissan Sauce Dip. Add water, pepper, 1 tsp chilli powder, salt and sugar. Stir well.
    • Bring to boil and from heat and leave to cool. Use as required.

    Fried Vegetables in Hot and Sweet Sauce

    • Mix the vegetables and both kinds of flour along with salt ,pepper and aromat. Shape the mixture into flat dumpling and fry in hot oil until crisp.
    • When ready keep aside. Heat little sesame oil in wok. Add the prepared dumplings. Add tomato sauce. Gently toss and add half of spring onion.
    • Serve hot. Garnish with remaining spring onion.
